Humanitarian Assistance to the Municipality of Kalmunai

Objectives

To enable the Kalmunai Municipality to provide basic services and assistance in this daunting task, they will require basic equipment, which they don’t have at present. UN-Habitat has obtained a list of urgently needed equipment from the Municipality and will purchase this equipment through the financial support for the City of Munich. The equipment will be handed over to the Municipality of Kalmunai.

The assistance of UN-Habitat will consist of the consultation with the Municipality of Kalmunai on the urgently required equipment and advice on the suitability of the proposed items. Upon agreement of the equipment list, UN-Habitat will purchase the equipment and hand it over to the Municipality of Kalmunai.
